I don't know what I want to get out of this. Maybe I just want to vent. I am a father of a 26 year old meth addict and have not been able to do anything about it. Now she is facing prison time for her addiction. Basically she is just before trial and I am trying to get her sentenced into drug rehab but the prosecutor wants to sentence her to 5 years in prison. I have higher-ed a lawyer and he says he is trying to get her 3 which is not exactly what I want either. She has a long sad story which I will try to tell as I can.
Short story. Parents divorced at 2 years old, mom unstable, dad "Me" working hard to better himself but not always there. I did my best but hindsight is 20/20. But to the right now we are in the fight for her life and any comments are welcome. I want to keep her out of jail and get her into treatment.
